Medical Student Outreach
Work with the MRS Medical Student Outreach Committee (MSOC) to network with students and encourage women and underrepresented minority students to pursue radiology; this past spring we partnered with MSCO to sponsor a medical student to attend the annual ACR meeting in Washington, D.C.; we plan to do this annually
Community Outreach
In early discussions with the ACR Health Equity Coalition to partner with them and plan future community outreach initiatives
Tracking Impact
Collect data regrading radiology residency demographics over time
Newsletter
Publish in every edition of the bi-monthly MRS newsletter on topics related to DEI; see the newsletter tab on the website for past articles
Advocacy
Bring issues relevant to our membership and radiology community to the attention of the MRS board, and advocate for policy changes
