MRS Annual Meeting

We are pleased to welcome you to the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Michigan Radiological Society, held May 9, 2026, at the Fort Pontchartrain Detroit, a Wyndham Hotel, in conjunction with the 29th Annual Resident Meeting and the 19th Annual Resident Research Forum. This year’s meeting features the 89th Annual Preston Hickey Lectures, the prestigious Gold Medal Presentation, and our General Membership Meeting, including the transition of Board leadership. These gatherings reflect our continued commitment to advancing the science and practice of radiology, supporting the next generation of physicians, and recognizing the outstanding contributions of our members.

We are especially honored to welcome our keynote speaker, Amy Patel, MD, a nationally recognized breast radiologist, educator, and advocate for equitable access to high-quality imaging and patient-centered care. She currently serves as Medical Director of the Liberty Hospital Breast Care Center, Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Missouri–Kansas City, and Chair of the American College of Radiology’s Radiology Advocacy Network and RADPAC, where she leads national efforts to advance access to radiologic care for patients.

Fort Pontchartrain Detroit, A Wyndham Hotel, is located in downtown Detroit and reflects the city’s heritage and future.
